N-Viro International has announced that construction has started on an all-new N-Viro Soil(TM) facility that will serve the Dan region of Israel, which includes Tel Aviv. In the last 60 days the facility has received its permits and construction has commenced.
It is believed that the facility can be operational in 2009. The facility will be owned and operated under a license by the Shafdan, the utility provider in the Dan region. N-Viro and its Israeli partner, CRM Military and Civilian Technologies, are both very pleased at reaching this important milestone.
Timothy Kasmoch, CEO and President of N-Viro International, said, "We are extremely excited the Israel project is under construction. This opportunity is the product of several years of development. The project enforces our commitment to expand our technologies into the global market and serves as initial steps in developing our international footprint. While we are concentrating our efforts in the U.S. to begin electrical generation with N-Viro Fuel, we are delighted to create a presence in Israel with our N-Viro Soil product line and manufacturing process. We look forward to the fully-commissioned facility at its completion."
The N-Viro Processes are used for the recycling of wastewater biosolids from municipal wastewater treatment facilities. N-Viro Soil produced according to the N-Viro Process specifications is an "exceptional quality" Class A (Class AA in Florida) biosolid product meeting all regulatory standards.
