The U.S. space agency says three technologies it developed have been inducted into the Space Technology Hall of Fame.

The induction was announced Thursday in Colorado Springs during a ceremony at the National Space Symposium.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration said the products to be recognized as originating from space technology are a medical diagnostic software tool that measures the thickness of arteries, a non-invasive medical device that improves blood flow to the heart and brain, and a technology that safely removes petroleum-based pollutants from water or soil.
