Total Traffic Network has announced a new multi-year agreement with TomTom to offer Lifetime Traffic Updates on several TomTom RDS-TMC equipped portable navigation units.
The new feature empowers users with real-time traffic information that helps them avoid traffic delays and other hassles on the road. At no extra cost, customers will receive these updates for the useful life of the device.
TomTom and Total Traffic Network first partnered in January, 2007 to provide real-time traffic on TomTom's portable navigational devices via a monthly subscription.
